Loyal supporters of the actress are urging that a person who jumped a fence and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage reveals the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though court documents indicated that he was set to appear on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes clips of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," commented an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Voice Worry Over the Star's Well-being

Several supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote one more comment on Instagram.

Some attendees also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared surprised when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore supporters had waited to meet the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore venue, including several who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The film, to be launched on November 21, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the acclaimed theatrical musical Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two distinct witches.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning film of the previous year in the UK, and earned ten Academy Award nods, securing a pair for best costume and set decoration.
