The Secret Organization is set to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, though the real showdown won’t take place until the third season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed this week that the talented performer has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Mr. 2. The role possesses the power to change into an perfect replica of anyone they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The performer, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will play a rendition of that character reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag performer, in the real-life adaptation, differing from the initial comic and anime.
The new cast member joins multiple new cast members set to bring the organization to reality, including chief Mr. 0, brought to life by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as another operative, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as the monarch of the fictional land.
Even though Bon Clay is a key figure of the organization, the persona will be introduced in One Piece the third season. Given season 2 set to cover the Little Garden segment, this signals a major departure in the schedule of the character’s debut, one that could signal more adjustments to the narrative framework.
The actor’s combination of sharp comedic timing and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the character. In addition to their latest vocal work in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.
Netflix's live-action One Piece show is set to return for its season two on March 10th, 2026.
